Accessible traditional yoga for your studio community

Partner with Santosha Yoga to Offer Grounded Traiditional Yoga Classes in Your Space

Santosha Yoga Gippsland works with studios and wellbeing centres across Gippsland to offer calm, accessible yoga classes grounded in the Satyananda / Bihar School tradition.

Our classes are gentle, structured and welcoming, with a strong focus on breath, awareness, relaxation and steady progression. This makes them especially supportive for people who are new to yoga, returning to practice, or looking for a more traditional and accessible approach.

If your studio would like to offer yoga that is grounded, inclusive and suitable for a wide range of students, we would welcome a conversation.

A Grounded Approach

Santosha Yoga Gippsland is aligned with the traditional Satyananda / Bihar School of Yoga approach.

This style of yoga is not about performance, flexibility or fast-paced movement. It is a steady, systematic practice that can include posture, breath awareness, relaxation, meditation and self-awareness.

For studio owners, this can offer a valuable point of difference within your timetable. Santosha Yoga classes can complement more dynamic, fitness-based or contemporary movement offerings by giving students a slower, deeper and more accessible way to practise.

A Living Tradition

Our teaching is informed by the Satyananda / Bihar School of Yoga tradition, with a focus on integrated practice rather than yoga as exercise alone.

Classes may include:

Gentle postures
Breath awareness
Relaxation
Meditation
Yoga Nidra-style practices where appropriate
Awareness-based movement
Steady beginner-level progression

This approach can be especially appealing to students seeking a calmer, more traditional and less intimidating yoga experience and is especially helpful in attracting newcomers to your centre.

Experienced Instruction

All Santosha Yoga instructors are Satyananda Yoga trained and have more than 10 years of experience instructing traditional Satyananda Yoga.

Our instructors also hold registration with Yoga Australia and SYTA.

Options to Suit

We are flexible in how we partner with studios and spaces.

Option 1: Santosha Yoga promotes and manages the class

Santosha Yoga has its own website and booking platform, so we can promote and manage bookings for Santosha Yoga classes held in your space.

This may suit studios that want to host an additional offering without needing to manage the full administration of the class.

Option 2: We deliver classes for your centre

We are also happy to deliver yoga classes directly for your studio or centre and be paid by the hour.

This may suit studios that prefer classes to sit under their own timetable, pricing, membership structure or booking system.

In this arrangement, Santosha Yoga provides the instructor and class delivery, while your studio manages the class as part of your own offering.

Grow Your Membership

Accessible yoga can be a valuable entry point for new students and members with traditional classes appealing to people who are:

new to yoga
older adults
recovering from injury
seeking stress relief or relaxation
interested in breath and meditation
nervous about attending a studio for the first time
wanting a supportive introduction to authentic yoga

For studios, this creates an opportunity to broaden your reach and welcome people who may not be drawn to stronger, faster or more physically demanding classes.

Santosha Yoga can help your centre offer an approachable first step into yoga for customers who may have overlooked other offerings.
